Compliance policy
KLIMAT SOLEC, as a responsible and conscious company, applies measures consistent with the compliance policy. It minimizes the risk of irregularities that may arise as a result of the actions of employees, contractors cooperating with the company or other units. It prevents violations of generally applicable laws, general principles and principles voluntarily adopted by KLIMAT SOLEC and generally accepted ethical and moral standards.
KLIMAT SOLEC's business responsibility is a long-term commitment and a big challenge for employees and business partners. It is based on a long-term strategy based on ethics and following its mission and values. It reacts strongly to violations of the principles of the compliance policy, especially in cases related to anti-corruption law.
The compliance policy implemented by KLIMAT SOLEC balances and protects the interests of various parties: management board, customers, suppliers, financial institutions, public institutions and local communities. All reports of violations of the Compliance Policy are thoroughly analyzed, and all identified violations are immediately corrected and sanctioned in accordance with the zero tolerance policy.

Research and development
The Research and Development Department of KLIMAT SOLEC improves our current products and develops new solutions.
The advancement of our existing products mainly involves carrying out activities aimed to increase air tightness of ventilation products, reduce system resistance, decrease power consumption and formulate the rules for the optimum selection of particular pieces of equipment.
The department has its own laboratory, making it possible to test multiple parameters of the products in our portfolio. All tests are carried out in compliance with the applicable Polish and European testing standards. This makes the test results reliable and enables us to introduce significant product enhancements and select the right equipment.
Among the latest projects completed by our Research and Development Department was the launch of a system of smoke-venting ducts and fittings. The system includes – a first on the Polish market, a smoke-venting compensator acting as a thermal extension to smoke-venting ducts. In 2013, the system was adapted to conform to the requirements of the PNEN 12101-7:2012 standard and now carries the CE marking.
As far as product testing is concerned, KLIMAT SOLEC cooperates with the leading technical university in the Kujawy-Pomerania province: the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz. This collaboration with an academic partner has many benefits for both parties and provides a synergy of actions that makes it possible for us to offer even better solutions.

Industrial ventilation in the offer of the KLIMAT PRO
What does ventilation in industrial facilities look like?
We use KLIMAT PRO welded ducts for installation in ventilation systems subject to particularly difficult operating conditions. With improved strength compared to traditional ducts, welded ducts are used in the extraction ventilation system and high abrasiveness and high temperature materials transport, e.g. exhaust gas.

The first Edition of the Installer Day
We organized the first Edition of the Installer Day on November 29. During this event, our employees took part in series of training sessions: assembly techniques and standards, work at height, proper work of an air handling unit or an offer of the Wayy brand. There were opportunities for technical conversation and sharing ideas for further work and cooperation.

It is a modern, 5-floor office building with 2-level underground parking lot. The building has 8 800 m2 of office and commercial space in the center of Bydgoszcz. KLIMAT SOLEC has provided there installation of mechanical ventilation and smoke exhaust.

Another year with the Business Gazelle Award for KLIMAT SOLEC
KLIMAT SOLEC has been granted the award for its dynamic growth in 2017. The company has received it another year in a row. The “Business Gazelles” is a prestigious ranking of the best developing companies in Poland. The place in the ranking and the decision to grant the award depend on the percentage turnover increase during the last three years. The ranking is developed by the editing board of “Puls Biznesu” with the assistance of the Coface Poland credit bureau.

SERENADA SHOPPING MALL - next awards for the building with HVAC system produced by KLIMAT SOLEC
Serenada Shopping Centre has been awarded the Property Design Award 2018 in the „Shape” category. It has been the second award for Serenada for several days. The previous one is CEE Retail Real Estate Awards 2018 in the „Retail Project” category.
In Serenada KLIMAT SOLEC provided the following systems: ventilation, process heat, water loop installation (cooling towers) and system automation; smoke extraction in the shopping mall, ventilation and smoke extraction in the garages. All automation devices are Wayy devices.

NWK1 and NWK2 directional swirl air diffuser
The offer of KLIMAT PRO has been extended with a new product - NWK1 and NWK2 directional swirl air diffuser.
The directional swirl air diffuser has guide rings made of plastic which can be individually adjusted; thus, the diffuser blends very well the air discharged with the room air.
We offer diffusers in two options:

KLIMAT SOLEC has been awarded the "Gazele Biznesu 2016" prize
We are glad to inform that KLIMAT SOLEC has received the "Gazele Biznesu" prize for 2016.
"Gazele Biznesu" is a ranking for the most dynamic small and medium companies. The first edition of the ranking was organized in 2000. The ranking is run by Coface Poland that is responsible for verification of financial data of the contestants.

We are about to finish all works at Baltic Park Molo
KLIMAT SOLEC has been realizing Baltic Park Molo in Świnoujście. The building consists of: the biggest hotel and apartment facility on the Polish coast and Świnoujście Radisson Blu Resort. This is the first hotel in Poland certified with LEED. The construction began in 2013. Holiday apartments were opened last year, by the second quarter of 2016 the five-star Radisson Blu Resort Świnoujście hotel will have been opened.
KLIMAT SOLEC has been installing smoke exhaust system, mechanical ventilation and automation system for hotel facilities, café and ice rink.

KLIMAT SOLEC as the Leader of Innovation of Kuyavia and Pomerania 2016
KLIMAT SOLEC won the 1st prize in this year’s 8th edition of the contest.The awards were given on the 30th November in the Old Town Hall in Toruń during the Forum for the Expansion of Small and Medium Enterprises Ceremony held by the Toruń Regional Development Agency.
The purpose of the “Leader of Innovation of Kuyavia and Pomerania” is to promote and honour companies from our region that rely on knowledge, innovation, and modern technologies, as well as to support innovative scientific and research projects and cooperation of company leaders with scientific units.
KLIMAT SOLEC has been awarded for its latest product – a system of high-volume smoke extraction ducts and fittings.
It is the most comprehensive system of this type in the market. We are the only company to offer circular elements. The smoke extraction system can be entirely controlled with a system of control dampers. Once set, they will work properly in living conditions as well as in fire conditions. The whole system may be used in designer rooms due to the possibility of painting all its components on site.
The system has been tested and certified by the Building Research Institute in Warsaw.

Launching a modern Buma Square business centre
KLIMAT SOLEC has completed another large-scale investment – modernisation of Buma Square business centre in Kraków.
The opening ceremony of the modern office building that had undergone a major renovation took place at the end of October in Kraków. It is worth mentioning that the building used to house the largest Polish printery. KLIMAT SOLEC participated in the investment by performing a series of work activities related to installing a supply and supply and exhaust ventilation with automatics. The company also installed comfort air conditioning, developed and implemented a system for changed technological solutions and employed equipment according to the investor’s requirements.
The purpose of the investment was to improve the quality and safety of the infrastructure and the technical standard of the building in order to provide a modern and comfortable environment for running a business, holding banquets or events for multiple users.

New office building edging closer to completion

Bydgoszcz Airport development
KLIMAT SOLEC has just finished the new project – Bydgoszcz Airport development. KLIMAT SOLEC made the system of ventilation, air-conditioning, ice water and process heat.
Bydgoszcz Airport Development aimed at enlarging the departures area, including panoramic restaurant and uty-free shops. Bydgoszcz Airport is the largest airport in the region, the annual numer of passengers is 320 000.

“Good CLIMATE for career development” is a project targeted at economically inactive people aged 18-24 who would like to become qualified operators of mobile lift platforms and forklifts or get their electrician's licence and practical skills while on work placement.
“Good CLIMATE for professional development” is a project targeted at economically inactive people aged 18-24 who would like to become qualified operators of mobile lift platforms and forklifts or get their electrician's licence and practical skills while on work placement.
The project involves:
- career paths developed by an employment counsellor,
- certified professional training courses to teach overhead crane, lift platforms and forklift operation, electrical qualifications, and TIG and MAG welding,
- 3-month work placement with employers from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship,
- jobs for at least 50% of the project participants.

KLIMAT SOLEC supports running events in the city
Mayor Antoni Nawrocki Solec Kujawski Street Run took place on Sunday, 29 May. Supported by local businesses, the organizers seek to promote active leisure among local residents and offer a number of attractions each year. The partners of this year's edition also included KLIMAT SOLEC. We have supported sport initiatives and local community integration for years.
Year by year, the event has become larger in scale, as evident from the record-breaking numbers of participants. More than 300 people entered the competition this year, including children, teenagers and adults. Each age category had its own distance. The main 5K race for adults was the most popular one. All race participants were awarded commemorative medals, diplomas and gifts. Attractive prizes were also distributed among lucky winners.
Besides the sporting emotions, the city also offered other interesting attractions for residents and visitors thanks to the event sponsors.

European Medal for Wayy
On the 8th of June in the National Opera in Warsaw, there was a final of a European Medal contest.
It was organised by Businnes Centre Club and European Economic and Social Committee as a honorary patonage. KLIMAT SOLEC got the prize for the second time. It should be emphasized that the entire publication - divided into three mentioned categories - is a rich overview of innovative ideas with great potential for success, not only in Poland but also on foreign markets.

Industry struggles in Victory Day
The annual sporting event in our industry, "Bieg Instalatora - Bydgoszcz 2016" was held in this year on May 8 (Victory Day). The long-awaited event has attracted to the Forest Park of Culture and Recreation in Myślęcinek (one of the largest recreational complexes in Poland which covers an area of 830 ha) crowds of runners, including many representatives of the HVAC industry.
The initiator and organizer of the event were the editors of the portal HVACR.pl. The editors in cooperation with the city authorities and the support of partners year after year successfully unite representatives of HVAC industry in the spirit of sportsmanship.

In this edition 459 runners completed the distance of 10 km. At the finish line they were selected winners of the general classification of women and men, as well as industry classification (individual and team). Among of participants they were also representatives of our company. At this point, we are pleased to mention that in the category "Installer" the team of KLIMAT SOLEC won the 2nd place – congratulations!
We congratulate all the the participants of the run and wish them further success. Our congratulations and thanks go also towards the employees of KLIMAT SOLEC, who always worthily represent our company.

KLIMAT SOLEC – Partner of the fastest Street Run in Poland!
We are pleased to inform that our company has become an Official Partner of the race: "Kamienna Piątka" – Open Championship in Bydgoszcz of the 5K street run, including Polish Championships for various professional groups (Doctors, Journalists, Bankers, Insurance Environments, Lawyers and Legal Advisors).
"Kamienna Piątka" is the fastest route for a distance of 5 km in Poland, confirmed by a certificate of Polish Athletics Association. This is the second edition of this event. The first edition was organized in 2015 arousing great interest. The number of those willing to participate in the race exceeded the limit of 800 participants. All indications are that this year's event (scheduled for June 12) has a good chance to repeat this success.
This is another sports event organized with the participation of KLIMAT SOLEC. The company has for many years supported various events not only in the field of sport, but also the culture and activities of non-governmental organizations.

7th Polish Volleyball Championship for Companies and Employers, Częstochowa 2016
The 7th Polish Volleyball Championship for Companies and Employers was held on 16-17 September in the HSC sports and entertainment arena in Częstochowa. As in the previous years, the event attracted fans and employees from companies across Poland, including KLIMAT SOLEC.
During this edition, 32 teams competed for the champion's title. Our employees showed commitment and a real fighting spirit when facing the other teams, which made for a see-saw of emotions for the fans. KLIMAT SOLEC team played excellent games and finished quite high: they made it to the 11th place.
KLIMAT SOLEC corporate volleyball team was recruited in 2009. From that time, as an amateur team they have competed for the top ranking positions every year, including against teams fielded by league clubs. We keep following our team's progress, proud of their passion for sports and their victories throughout the country.

The realization of great power
Confidence in the company KLIMAT SOLEC is strengthening not only in Poland but also abroad. Extensive experience in developing HVAC systems for different objects in many industries has allowed us to gain another, significant investment. Currently, the Äänekoski power plant located in Finland has attached to a wide range of our customers.
The power plant, existing since 1985, produces annually approx. 550 000.00 MWh of electricity. Currently, the entire object is in the development stage. The work entrusted to the company KLIMAT SOLEC in the field of sanitary installations will concern, among others, ventilation for various rooms with different installation requirements. In addition, at the request of the Finnish customer at this facility will be delivered and installed KLIMAT PRO products.
The Äänekoski power plant is part of the industrial complex Metsä Fibre - manufacturer of bio-products and bio-energy. The effect of large-scale expansion will be the world's first next-generation factory specializing in the production of bioproducts. The whole complex will be completed in 2017. Investment worth EUR 1.2 billion is by far the largest of its type in the timber industry implemented in Finland.

Wayy moved up to the next stage!
We are pleased to inform that our innovative brand Wayy has advanced to the next stage of the competition "Product of the Year 2015" organised by “Inteligentny Budynek”, a Polish magazine focused on intelligent systems and technologies used in modern construction.
Wayy System Automation has been appreciated receiving high marks from the Jury in the following categories:
– Elements of building automation,
– Building automation systems - BMS.All the products nominated for the second stage of the competition will appear in the March-April issue of the magazine. The winners will be selected by a vote of readers, which will run from 1 to 23 March. The awards ceremony will take place on April 14th in Warsaw during the seminar "Intelligent Building – integrated building automation systems”.

Let's relive! KLIMAT SOLEC in 2015 – Yearly Summary
The past year was a time of hard work and important events not only for the company’s development but also its employees. The following summary contains the most important activities of KLIMAT SOLEC during the past year.
1. Launch of the Wayy brand
The most important place in the history of the company in 2015 took our newest brand Wayy. Our innovative solutions for the system automation were quickly noticed and appreciated. A few months after the launch of the brand Wayy was honorable mention among the latest product solutions in Kuyavian-Pomeranian area, and the owner of the brand KLIMAT SOLEC Ltd. was honored as the Leader of Innovation in Kuyavian and Pomeranian 2015.2. Ambitious realizations
At the turn of the last 12 months we have completed a lot of interesting and ambitious investments. The largest of these included: multi-modal facility Łódź Fabryczna, Bydgoszcz Railway Station and Termy Warmińskie in Warmia-Masuria Province. On each of these objects were used KLIMAT PRO products.3. The new office building
An important point in our company's history was also the start of construction of a new office building. Completion of works is planned in November this year. Then the office space of KLIMAT SOLEC will increase almost threefold, reaching a total area of 1 400 m2.4. The Jubilee
Undoubtedly, a very nice touch last year was a jubilee event organized for our employees with the longest work experience. The Management Board of KLIMAT SOLEC and employees together with their partners took part in the dinner and received awards with diplomas. The event was an expression of appreciation and thanks for the employees for their commitment and efforts in the development of the company during the last 27 years.5. CSR activities
Within the practice of CSR as every year we supported various actions to develop passions and interests of our employees, including the company's volleyball team, workshops of mixed martial arts and fishing competition. Our employees also took an active part in sporting events, including regattas and HVAC races. Moreover, according to yearly tradition there was organized a photo contest for the all employees. Termy Warmińskie – one of the latest realization of KLIMAT SOLEC
TERMY WARMIŃSKIE in Lidzbark Warminski is the first modern thermal centre located in the northern part of Poland. The object worth 104 million PLN was put into operation at the end of 2015 but its official opening took place today.
Within this realization KLIMAT SOLEC has been involved in the execution of sanitary installations. Our company performed, among others, comfort ventilation systems, process heat systems, central heating and solar installation. Furthermore at this facility were installed KLIMAT PRO products.

A new office building for KLIMAT SOLEC already under construction
This week contractors began work on the new office building for KLIMAT SOLEC. Expansion of the current headquarters is an important step in the company's history. The investment is aimed not only to increase the existing office space, but also a decent representation of the company. The completion of works and commissioning of the new facility into service is scheduled for November next year.

The first train arrived at Lodz Fabryczna Station
A special train with journalists and representatives of PKP Polish Railway Lines appeared yesterday at the station Lodz Fabryczna. Arrival of the first train was held to celebrate the completion of stage of works.
The investment will be one of the most modern railway station in Europe. In the area of activities related to installation of HVAC systems were involved many trusted partners, including KLIMAT SOLEC. The company performed the mechanical smoke exhaust ventilation systems and regular installation. It has been installed 18 453.80 m2 ventilation ducts and 1 496 pieces of boxes, including smoke exhaust ducts and fittings in kZO system produced by KLIMAT PRO.
Further works include the installation of control equipment and installations responsible for security and the smooth functioning of the station. The official completion of the investment is planned for autumn next year.

The royal couple visits the realization of KLIMAT SOLEC
In October 13-15th the Belgian royal couple – King Philip and Queen Matilda hosted in Poland. One of the points of the programme planned for the foreign guests was visiting La Lorraine Poland – the company located in Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki.
La Lorraine commissioned KLIMAT SOLEC implementation of air conditioning and ventilation systems specially prepared for the visit of the royal couple. The installation has been designed in such a way that its components and devices can be used to operate the technical rooms – the investment planned to be executed at a later date.
La Lorraine is a Belgian leader in the bakery industry not only in Belgium but also in Poland and the Czech Republic.Date: 30.09.2015
The largest multimodal facility in Poland
New Railway Station Lodz Fabryczna is the first such large-modal project in Poland, carried out in the center of Lodz. In place of the existing railway station are creating an extensive interchange connecting rail with other kinds of communication such as buses, trams and cars.
The investment worth more than PLN 1.75 billion involved many trusted partners, including KLIMAT SOLEC. The company was responsible for the mechanical smoke exhaust ventilation systems and installation of household appliances. The work was carried out from January to September this year. It has been used 18453.80 m2 air ducts, 1,496 pieces of boxes, including products KLIMAT PRO.
To complete the entire project remained 20 percent of the work. The scale of this huge investment is reflected by numbers. At the largest multimodal facility was used 750 thousand m3 of concrete, this is three times more than in the case of construction of the National Stadium in Warsaw. Additionally, the glass roof was covered with 10 thousand glass of size 1.0 m x 1.0 m each, and the whole hall station is supported by 250 foundation piles, installed 30m into the ground. The upgraded station will allow to serve 20 times more passengers than before, up to 200 thousand per day.
The entire facility will be commissioned in 2016, but it is already known that the new object will be counted among the top European stations and will become the most modern interchanges in this part of Europe.

The Regatta of HVACR Industry – September 2015
The third edition of the Regatta of HVACR Industry is behind us. This year the competition was scheduled for the first weekend of September bringing over the lake in Gizycko many sailing enthusiasts. The event was attended by 15 teams, and many die-hard fans. As every year, there was also a representation of KLIMAT SOLEC divided into two 4-person teams. Despite difficult weather conditions, competition for the best places lasted until the very end. Ultimately, our crews ranked at 6th and 8th place. Congratulations and thanks to all the participants of this year's regatta for providing us so many positive emotions.

Railway Station in Bydgoszcz opens to the public
Part of the new building of Bydgoszcz Główna Railway Station (another project of KLIMAT SOLEC) has been opened at the beginning of this week.
The final commissioning is scheduled for October but due to the convenience of travellers, two levels of the building including new ticket offices have already been opened. This modern and functional investment worth PLN 197 million belongs to the highest class projects. To create this object (with a usable area of more than 6,000 m2) were used high quality components and materials.
KLIMAT SOLEC has been involved in the work on sanitary installations. The company have been responsible for the installation of mechanical ventilation, smoke-venting, air-conditioning and control systems, and delivery and assembly of KLIMAT PRO products.

A construction project for the Integrated Communications Centre in Bydgoszcz. Scope of work: installation of mechanical ventilation, smoke-venting, air-conditioning and control systems, and delivery and assembly of KLIMAT PRO products:
– installation of a supply and exhaust ventilation system,
– air-handling units: with heat recovery, total flow-rate supply capacity of Vn 3,800.00 m3/h and exhaust capacity of Vw 3,640.00 m3/h; with cross-flow heat exchangers and rotary heat exchangers, total flow rate capacity of Vn 14,685.00 m3/h and Vw 14,735.00 m3/h, including a control system; air-handling units with total flow rate capacity of Vn 10,791.00 m3/h and Vw 10,721.00 m3/h, and Vn 37,340.00 m3/h and Vw 38,070.00 m3/h,
– air-conditioning system based on VRF air-conditioners and ceiling-mounted split air-conditioners, chilled water system with water chillers, four-pipe fan-coil units, and ceiling mounted fan-coil units capable of year-round operation, with external units located on the roof of the building,

KLIMAT SOLEC is a winner of the Installer Race
On 24.05.2015 in “Myślęcinek” in Bydgoszcz the Installer Race took place. It was a cross-country race for a distance of 10 km. Not only installers were able to take part in the race, but in fact the rivalry among this group was the most exciting. The biggest winner in this category was KLIMAT SOLEC – the first place took KLIMAT SOLEC I team, the second – KLIMAT SOLEC II team. We are pleased that our employees and their friends take part in sport events so often and that they take high places and have a good time.

6th Polish Volleyball Championships for Companies and Employers – Toruń 2015
The 6th Polish Volleyball Championships for Companies and Employers were held between 25 and 26 April 2015 in Toruń. The competition has garnered considerable interest and the record number of 40 contesting teams. The championship matches were played in three different sports venues at the same time. The KLIMAT SOLEC team, who entered the tournament for the fifth time, finished in middle of the table (places 20–24), which is our best result in the championships so far. To our delight, we returned home with a title. As there were two female players on our team, we won the special award for the Best Mixed Team of the Championships.

KLIMAT SOLEC has started a realization of technological system of ventilation for paper devices in Sappi Alfeld in Germany
